This week Britain’s most decorated  Special Air Service soldier and now established author Andy McNab has very kindly added his seal of approval to the North South Solo world record attempt at the end of this year. Andy came into the public’s eye  in the early 90′s when he published his account of the (SAS) patrol, Bravo Two Zero for which he was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal.
North South Solo – education through exploration

“I have encountered many tough and unforgiving terrains in my time but a journey of this magnitude is no mean feat. Good luck to Mark – he’s going to need a fair dose of it along with the single-mindedness that comes with attempting such a treacherous adventure.” ~Andy McNab
